Seeing innocence in your Client is not always easy. Seeing it in your self is doubly hard.
That’s why I’m sharing Part 2 of the #1 most important coaching skill you must embrace to be the best Coach (and person) you can possibly be: Speak as if they are innocent.
Recently I was coaching a therapist on how to incorporate coaching skills into her practice. When we got to this skill, she asked me, “Do you just assume your Client’s are innocent?” I told her no. I KNOW they are innocent.
Most people do not set out to ruin their day but they do nonetheless. Most people do not plan on beating themselves up. But again, they do it.
Innocence is the cure-all, the salve that heals your heart and wakes you up to the truth of who you are.
Innocence changes everything. Are you willing to embrace your innocence?
